August 30, 2026 - Quartz Hill
Cost: Free for now. The price doubles on August 31st, so hurry up and register.
Start location: Click HERE for the start location
Start time: 10:00am - plenty of time to drive out the morning of.
Participant limit: 74, the early bird gets the worm
Rules: Sign in before the race and sign out when you finish. Make sure to sign out! If you don't sign out, you will be subject to the ultimate punishment. We don't know what that is yet and we don't want to find out, so just sign out. When you sign in we'll give you the run down of using the Time Machine to get your finish time to log on the sign out sheet. Roads will be open to traffic and trails will have other users on them. Any vehicle on the course is not expecting to encounter a bike race on these roads, so please stay to the right hand side of the road. Don't ride like an idiot. Be nice to other people. Ride within your abilities. You are responsible for your own safety, navigating the course, and addressing any mechanicals that may arise. You will need a gps device and the gps file. Last and most important have fun.
Details: Remember when we rode around Mt. Sedgewick in 2022? That was a fun one. We'll be in a similar area and ride the southern part of the Sedgewick loop and mix in some super fun totally gravel bikeable singletrack toward the end of the loops. Trust me, it's fun. You'll forget about all the climbing and riding you've done to get there and I'll personally guarantee it. If you aren't fully satisfied, we'll give you your money back on the spot!
Course notes:
There is a gate when the long route meets the paved road (mile 32.9) make sure to close it behind you. The paved road has a large shoulder, good pavement, and is slightly downhill. Ahhh yeah.
Medium and Long singletrack entry: As you top out from climbing up from Bonita Canyon road the road will turn to the right and singletrack will begin paralleling the road on your left hand side. Stay on the road for ~1/4 of a mile and there is a spot where the singletrack is super close to the road and you can ride over to it. You enter the singletrack at mile 32.8 on the medium and mile 52.4 on the long course. Below are snippets of the map and a picture. I should be able to ride out and put a sign up to help you find it, if I don't forget.

As with every Dusty Roadrunner, we'll have some Gyros, Barbacoa El Primo, and Michael Thomas Coffee, so you'll get your money's worth even though you didn't pay. For everyone that carpools we'll give you an extra piece of baclava, so you should do that.
